Diverse Family Roots Society is the only grassroots, parent/family-driven support network for families with children or family members with diverse abilities/disabilities that is based in the Kootenays.

The society has 15 volunteer family stewards throughout the Kootenays that are connecting families to resources, to other families, and to the community in which they live.

Everything the society provides is free to families.
